Search and filters
Full-text search over everything you saved, plus filters by type and tag and a choice of order.
Search is the point of saving things. Press CtrlK (⌘K) from anywhere in the library to jump to the search box.
What is searched#
| Searched | Not searched |
|---|---|
| The title, the tags, the AI description and your note | The picture itself — there is no image search yet |
| The address it came from, and the filename | |
| The text of a page saved offline, in full |
So a bookmark whose page you saved as HTML is findable by a sentence in the middle of that page, not just by its title.
How a query is read#
- Every word has to match. Two words narrow the result; they do not widen it.
- Every word matches by prefix, so
typofindstypographyas you type. - Word endings are folded, so
runningfindsrun. - Accents are folded, so
cafefindscafé.
A search narrows what the grid shows; it does not reorder it. The order stays whatever the sort control says, and the filters below still apply.
Filters#
Beside the search box:
- Type — All, Images, Videos, Bookmarks.
- Untagged — only items with no tags at all.
- Tags — pick one or more. With two or more picked, an AND / OR switch appears: AND wants every tag, OR wants any of them.
On a narrow screen these move behind a Filter button, which shows how many are active.
Order and size#
The sort control has a key and a direction:
| Sort by | Ascending | Descending |
|---|---|---|
| Date | Oldest first | Newest first |
| Tags | A → Z | Z → A |
| Content type | Images, videos, bookmarks | The reverse |
The image-size button beside it sets how big the cards are, from Extra small to Extra large. Both settings are remembered per browser.
Tip
A project, a tag filter and a search all narrow at once. The fastest way to a thing you half remember is usually the project, then untagged or a tag, then two words.
