Create your account

Sign up with an email address or with Google, choose a plan, and find your way around.

Your library lives at app.jayboard.com. The home page at jayboard.com is marketing; the app is a separate address, and it is the one to bookmark.

  1. Open app.jayboard.com.
  2. Enter an email address and a password, or use Sign in with Google if it is offered.
  3. Choose a plan. JayBoard is a paid product — see the pricing section for what each plan includes.

Payment goes through Stripe, and JayBoard never sees your card. As soon as the plan is active you land in your library — empty, with a short welcome that offers the extension and explains the two keystrokes.

Note

The welcome appears once per account. Close brings it back next time; Don't show again retires it for good. There is no way back into it, so the permanent choice is the one you have to ask for.

Sign in again#

Sessions are long-lived, and a browser stays signed in until you sign out. If you forget your password, Forgot your password? on the sign-in page sends a reset link to your address. The link is single-use and expires.

Find your way around#

The library has three regions, and they stay where they are:

The ? button in the toolbar opens the shortcuts panel, which also names the version you are running.

Try it without an account#

The live demo signs you into a seeded, read-only library. It is a real account with real items, so every screen in this documentation is there to look at — you simply cannot change anything, and the session ends on its own.

Next#

Install the extension, which is what turns a browser into something that captures.
