What JayBoard is

A private visual library — what it captures, where it keeps things, and who can read them.

JayBoard is a private visual library. You capture things from the web; JayBoard keeps them, organizes them, and gives you a way to find them again years later. There is no feed, no following, and no algorithm. An account holds your own material and nobody else's.

The three parts#

The extension	A Chrome extension that captures what is on the page in front of you: images, videos, links, whole pages, or a recording of the tab.
The library	The web app at your account address. Everything you capture lands here, in projects, with tags, descriptions and full-text search.
Moodboards	An infinite canvas per board. Drag items out of the library and arrange them, with notes, frames and connectors.

You can use the library on its own — items can be added from the app itself, without the extension. The extension is what makes capture one keystroke instead of a download folder.

What actually gets saved#

A capture is a real file, not a link to somebody else's server. An image is downloaded and stored, a video is fetched and transcoded, and a page saved as HTML is a single self-contained file with its styles and images inside it. If the original page disappears, what you saved does not.

Bookmarks are the exception, and they are honest about it: a bookmark is an address plus a preview image and the page's own title and description. You can add a self-contained copy of the page to a bookmark later, from the viewer.

Who can read it#

Every account gets its own store — its own database and its own media — and a request is pinned to one account for its whole life. Isolation is structural, not a filter that could be forgotten.

Nothing you save is public, and nothing is shared with another account.
Media is served through short-lived addresses, so a link copied out of the app stops working.
The privacy policy lists every service involved and what it sees.

What it costs#

JayBoard is a paid, hosted product: you choose a plan when you create an account. Plans differ in storage and in how much AI annotation they include. The current plans and prices are on the pricing section of the home page.

You can look at a real library before you sign up. The live demo opens a seeded, read-only account — no email address and no card.
