Duplicate saves and original X images
Duplicate saves now point to the existing item. X photos save at original size, and tray icons open details with the original URL.

You find an image worth keeping, save it, and later find it again on another page. It is easy to forget that it is already in your library. This update catches that second save, tells you where the first copy lives, and makes it easier to inspect what you have saved.
Duplicate saves point to the existing item#
JayBoard checks a save against your library by its source URL. For newly saved files, it also compares the exact file contents, so the same file arriving from a different address can be recognised too. When a match is found, JayBoard keeps the existing item and shows which project it is in.
The check works across projects in your library. Saving something into a second project does not create another copy just because the destination changed. It also catches repeated clicks and saves that arrive at the same time.
Matching by file contents means an exact copy. A crop, a resized image, or a different export can still be a separate file. Items saved before this update are checked by their source URLs; file-content matching starts with new saves.
Original photos from X, and a way back to the source#
Photos in X's For you and Following feeds often point to a small preview. JayBoard now requests the original image size when downloading those photos, so the saved file uses the resolution X makes available rather than the feed's small version.
In the gallery's activity tray, click the icon beside a saved item to open its detail view. This also works for a duplicate when the existing item is available. If your current filters hide it, JayBoard adjusts the view so you can see it.
At the bottom of the detail view's metadata, URL shows the original address when one was recorded. Long addresses are shortened to fit. Hover to see the complete address, or click to open it.
